Freja Beha Erichsen. That brow so strong, baby.
Video by Kreayshawn for a track by Stalker. Also check out this recent mix by Stalker. I’ve always loved chopped and screwed shit and I’m glad more people seem to be fucking with it lately.
YOURS0146 love(the-dream)king by Sebastian Rozenberg
This is the same dude responsible for that Gucci Mane vs SALEM track. YOURS0146 is a remix and accompanying video for The-Dream’s Love King. You can read his description and check the video here.

This pic is so Witch House, bro. I just recently started looking into the genre actually. I’ve been into SALEM for a few years, but I didn’t realize there was a lot more like them now. Right now I’m banging GR†LL GR†LL‘s CDR.
Also, enjoying the iPhone4 camera. This is actually a still from a video taken with the phone though.

Thought of you, Blan. Pause. This reminded me of that Hood By Air ‘Realness’ tee. I still kinda want that shit regardless of how ’mo it is. I should’ve copped when Seven had it.

Chromatic Environment by Carlos Cruz-Deiz
Beautiful, reminds me of the scene in The Holy Mountain when the fool enters the alchemist’s palace. This is an image from Cruz-Diez’s book Reflections on Color which someone on Flickr found at Powell’s. Last time I was in Portland I found an awesome 40 year old Op Art book that I’ve abused quite often. The cover of this book alone would’ve forced me to cop. This book can be found on Amazon though if you’re interested.
Check the set to see the rest of the images.

I keep a handful of designers/studios in a bookmarks folder that I flip through for inspiration/boredom. Lately though, I find myself coming back to UK studio Julia‘s portfolio quite often.
I’m most intrigued by their typefaces. The Serious Sans project pictured recognizes the undeniable amateur appeal of Comic Sans and aims to maintain the quirkiness while turning it into a serious typeface. The Modo typeface is interesting as well (The O’s are great). Unfortunately, it seems these typefaces were never released to the public.
