In my attempt to get back into drawing I realized that I suck now. Somehow in my attempts to create a style some years back I’ve completely fucked my sense of proportion. I’ve recently taken to drawing over images (tracing) with my wacom pad. It’s a cheating ass thing to do, but it is helping me on paper as well.
Also, speaking of drawing check out this girl. I mean yeah she’s hot and whatever whatever. I read her blog for the drawings though I promise.

I made this some weeks ago as a start to noooothing. I can’t promise dailies, but I’m back in my groove and will hopefully be drawing/designing more often as I gear up to polish my portfolio and finally apply to schools so I can get to NY.

I took this in NYC back in 2007. I need to get back into takings pics more often. I might go through my Flickr and post up all the old shit I like. Also, ORIGINAL CONTENT SON WHAT.

I was messing around with purposefully scrambling images and came up with an idea today. This image reminded me of a song so I opened the image in a text program and inserted the lyrics into it and from there did some more with photoshop. I like how it came out. I think I’ll do one for each song on the album.

I just completed a fun project as more grid system practice. It’s a series of A1 posters about popular rappers’ ad-libs. These are mockups of the Young Jeezy posters. I’ve also designed psoters for Clipse, Diddy, and Jadakiss. I hope to get them printed soon-ish. If anyone is interested in any of them just leave a comment or e-mail me.

This is a project I’ve been working on for the past few days. It’s still a work in progress, but I am liking how it’s shaping up. It was good practice with the grid system (and pretty obviously so).
