I’ve always been interested in stupidly tactical (well, yeah but you know) outerwear. This is a step up from the Moon sleeping bag jawn I posted awhile back. Someone find me a black one.

I recently discovered LESS (Leaner CSS) and I’ve been messing around with converting this blog and other recent projects to LESS syntax to try it out. Holy fuck, it’s awesome. The first thing that struck me was the option to set variables like the @column and @gutter in the image. Then, you can use mathematical operations to set values. This makes operating within a grid system much easier. Before I had to memorize lots of widths for every grid in order to size elements (and still do, but you get me). I don’t know if this excites most of my readers, but I just had to let people know about this if they hadn’t seen it. I taught myself CSS a while back, and while you should really understand it without this, it makes life so much easier.
The website shows how to install the LESS Ruby gem that compiles .less files into .css files. It’s pretty easy to install on a Mac or atleast it was for me. The newest version is javascript though and operates within the browser. So, there’s really no installation necessary. I’m using LESS.app (best software page ever, funny shit) to compile locally just because that makes more sense to me. I’m using an outdated version though because the newest are Intel only.

Playstation Survivalism by Megazord
I found my Playstation recently and played all of my old bootleg games I bought when I lived in Sicily. Almost all of the games have a really shitty scanned image + added graphics/text as a cover. If I can find my scanner I’ll post some of the better ones.
I still can’t find my copy of Ehrgeiz. At the market in Catania there was always a bunch of African dudes selling games and music. I remember really, really wanting that game and I finally saw it on his list. He let me sort through a trash bag full of games, but I couldn’t find it in there. I followed him back to his car. Not there either. Now, If i was a white girl this is the point where maybe I should start worrying. So, he gets his friend to go wherever the fuck and he comes back with it. I think I paid him 10,000 lire (probably like 6 bucks then).

My friend Bernard’s site Everyday Carry is another tumblr I can get behind.

“ Everyday Carry, or EDC, generally refers to small items or gadgets worn, carried, or made available in pockets, holsters, or bags on a daily basis to manage common tasks or for use in unexpected situations or emergencies. In a broader sense, it is a lifestyle, discipline, or philosophy of preparedness. ”I almost didn’t use this pic because of the BMW key. Audi all day son. Germany’s beasting in the World Cup though so maybe it’s okay.
